2020… A different year!

Here we are starting a new year, with a lot of positivity and excited for what lies ahead.

2021 promises to be a great year, but we wanted to reflect on 2020 and how it affected us all.

In the year where a global pandemic has emerged and despite all the difficulties this has presented, we are grateful for all the things we have achieved so far. We are very happy to have built a fitness community in Winsley that welcome new neighbours, to see people from different villages come together to exercise and to be able to help charities and organisations in really tough times.

If there is something that 2020 has shown us is that we are stronger together. When we launched RUSTIQ, we didn’t know all the obstacles we were going to face but we are learning everyday, trying to adapt to the circumstances and planning ahead with enthusiasm.

With great projects lying ahead, we can’t wait until we can reopen again and be able to offer our services to the local community.

Join our flock!

Earlier this year we had the opportunity to get in touch with our local Rugby club, getting into a collaboration to help them with their Strength and Conditioning. We are very excited to be part of this project to train the first team and increase their fitness levels, prevent and rehabilitate injuries, as well as get them ready for a new season.

Strength and Conditioning is thought to be only needed for elite or high performance athletes, but the truth is that recreational athletes can also benefit from this training. With a more exhaustive and dedicated planning, we work to improve strength, power, agility, speed, endurance and other capabilities of the athletes needed for the specified sport.

Sadly, due to the COVID19 pandemic the sessions had to be adapted online but we have now started to train them in small groups as guided by the government and the relevant organisations. We are very happy to welcome them on the farm and to start their pre-season training.

We will be looking forward to their performance during the season and to see them in action soon!
